Why We Built This Site
Colorado provides several public access routes, yet each answers a different question. Rio Blanco County Sheriff's Office maintains its own reports and custody files. Judicial Branch clerks keep filed charges and dispositions. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation Identification Unit runs the statewide repository, while the Colorado Department of Corrections and Colorado Sex Offender Registry publish separate status data. The site organizes verified contacts, search portals, fees, and request steps around those lines of custody.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: the Rio Blanco sheriff, court counters, town police, and statewide systems
- Record guides: how official criminal court case files are found and read
- Official checks: the difference between CBI name searches and fingerprint-based review
- Record relief: how Colorado sealing and juvenile expungement routes differ
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no tie to a Colorado court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Its limits are firm:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file sealing, expungement, records requests, or other paperwork for anyone
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
An official copy must come from the sheriff, court, Colorado Bureau of Investigation, or other office that issued and maintains it.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own results, prices, and services. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports site operation. The providers, not this site, determine their charges and returned information.
